The Glory Days of Summer

Or, as I prefer to call it, re-run hell! Where are all the new summer replacement shows? SyFy has a few, Warehouse 13, Ghost Hunters International, uh, what else? Hmm, forgot. Then there are several reality shows like: More to Love, (hunh?) Dating in the Dark, ( what is that all about?) America's Got Talent, (but apparently not so much) . And then there's the game shows: Wipeout (gotta love their big balls!) I Survived a Japanese Game Show ( why on earth would you want to tell anyone that?)
With lineups like that, no wonder folks lose weight in the summer time. Who wants to sit thru crap like that?
Of course there is one saving grace, no make that three! The new show on Discovery is pretty interesting; at least so far. The Colony premiered last night and it was pretty decent. Then we have The Deadliest Catch and Ice Road truckers: not too bad.
Animal Planet has I Was Bitten, title says it all, NatGeo has Lock-Up and there are always re-runs of CSI's plural! Sure do miss William Peterson. Somehow Larry Fishburne just ain't Grissom!
So, summer comes and folks lose weight thanks to re-runs on TV. I wondered how that happened!
